Graduating- Students Advancement Ceremony

We had an amazing certificate and advancement ceremony for five graduating students.

Amber, Dylan, Dallin, Eric and Lee all have moved on to great things!

We are so proud of their progress, work and successes.

Each have created a successful path forward and are rocking it!

We will miss them and hope they will come back to visit often.

We never know when a student starts where they will land; finding themselves and working through roadblocks leads often to new paths and possibilities.

We have tried to ensure that each student finds their landing place as a destination school more than a transition school.

Congrats to our students and supporters who have all worked so hard!

Tech Class- Student Progress Update

Tech Class Update…

Everyone has been rapidly improving,

and I am impressed by how quickly they are learning new things.

The students involved with Art Around the Corner should be very proud of themselves,

as they have received a great deal of praise for their hard work and their attention to detail.

Many of the students have completed the requirements for their web certification,

and the rest of them will be done by next week!  — Joe TFL Tech Coach

New Student

Welcome To Our New Student Joseph From California!

TechieForLife welcomes our new student…

From California,

Joseph,

graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Game Development.

He hopes to one day be a game designer.

He is passionate about:

  • Music
  • Politics (he has sparked many a lively, yet civil discussion)
  • Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup)

Gaming is his big hobby and while World of Warcraft is his all-time favorite, Joseph is really into Overwatch and Heros of the Storm, lately.

When asked about coming to TFL Joseph said, “I like it and feel comfortable here.”

Joseph has a kind heart and a great sense of humor!

We’re glad to have him apart of our TFL family. —Debbie, TFL Admissions Director

Rappelling With Cam

Rappelling With Our TechieForLife Mentor Cam

We were able to go rappelling this week with Cam.

It was a little warm outside, but I had a lot of fun and really started feeling like I was getting better at it.

It was fun cheering on the others trying it for the first time, or even the ones who were more used to it.

I look forward to trying more challenging cliffs. – Amber, TFL Student
